Yes Arts Community

At Yes Arts, we believe that disrupting the cycle of addiction is a community endeavor. Our Community program includes:

  • Organizational partnerships to advance the impact of our work;

  • Mural installations, exhibits and performances that encourage public understanding, empathy and ownership of addiction issues, including local events as well as state-wide screening of The Art of Recovery on KET; and

  • Assisted in the launch of what is now the Franklin County Health Department’s Just Say Yes initiative to prevent youth substance use in Franklin County, in partnership with the Franklin County Agency for Substance Abuse Policy (ASAP).

  • Outreach programs through various community events

  • Black Women Artists of Frankfort network
