A variety of opportunities available to youth is essential to their development and growth. This photo is representative of the simple beauty of opportunity that the location of Frankfort and Franklin County provides. While close enough to city life, we are rural enough to enjoy the open fields and open air. The open spaces create a freedom for youth to create opportunities that expand their horizons beyond sports to include participation in horse riding, agricultural activities, horticulture, and various other ways of expression. Opportunities allow for the space
for personal growth, mental and physical health, self-esteem and confidence growth, career training, and social growth and connections. Every youth has a passion and strength, and it's essential to provide avenues for these passions and strengths to be developed and nurtured. While these may not revolve around sports or the opportunities of "city life," rural locations provides a freedom of space for youth to express themselves and find their way in the unique opportunities provided to them.​
