This picture represents an example of partnerships between local agencies and the faith-based community. For many, faith is integral to their purpose, relationships, development, and success. Our community is blessed to have a strong network of agencies and over 100 faith-based organizations. It is vital that these two networks unite for the advantage of our most vulnerable population: our youth. It is no secret that faith is deeply embedded into communities and plays an important role in the development, support, and resiliency of youth. Everyone needs to feel a sense of belonging and structure, and unity of faith and community partnerships can open doors to support whole person health in youth. We often focus on our physical and mental health, but spiritual health is just as, if not, more important. Building these relationships based in trust, respect, honesty, and open communication is vital for youth to create viable and sustainable relationships, services, and foundations. ​
