Felice is a community artist, youth empowerment educator, Radical Homemaker, and Registered Art Therapist who has been connecting, creating, & contemplating in Lexington, KY since 2010.

She found her way into needlecraft alongside her grandma. From her mother, she learned about the power of community organizing and gentle connection. Following these two examples, she has spent her life practicing listening as a way to form connection and perfecting new stitches as a quiet form of protest.

In 2007, she had the opportunity to work with young women in the Dominican Republic to help them gain access to their creative potential and economic power through needle and thread. This experience with traditional crafts taught her that stitching and community development merge powerfully.

Since then, her work has moved through art education at neighborhood after-school programs toward radical domesticity and art-making for social change within and around her home to developing a professional practice of art therapy. In all these endeavors, her hope is to connect, create, and contemplate with others while they journey toward finding a voice.
