Reaching children who live in our rural areas is a huge challenge. Many beneficial programs for youth are located at a distance from rural areas which prevents them from participating and getting the help they need. This dirty bent sign is supposed to remind folks to take care of and be aware of our children's safety on these rural roads. But it has been neglected, pushed over and can now hardly be read. Let's not treat the youth in our rural areas the same way this sign has been treated! ​
