Frankfort is fortunate to have a strong network of faith-based organizations that offer youth programs and opportunities for families to engage in meaningful ways. This photo captures a young boy deeply focused on coloring a children's bulletin during worship—a simple moment that speaks volumes. Faith communities have a unique role in helping children feel connected, valued, and seen, especially through intergenerational experiences that foster belonging. I titled this photo "Dropping Hymnals"—a gentle reminder that children should not only be welcomed in church but fully embraced. Rather than judging noisy or restless moments, we should celebrate the joyful sound of young lives growing in faith. Research shows that youth raised in religious environments are more protected from depression, substance abuse, and early sexual activity. Creating space for children in worship today helps lay a foundation for wellness tomorrow.​
